One of our specialties at Lumico is website development. We love to create unique content and constantly strive to refer our clients to professional and trendy websites that link back to current, up-to-date and appealing social media channels. Here are a few favourite 2019 website rebuilds from Daniel Malherbe, Lumico Director, and the Lumico team.
We recently rebuilt the website of trusted client Stellar Winery. Stellar, located in Vredendal in the Western Cape, is the largest producer of fine, organic, Fairtrade wines in South Africa, and is also the largest global producer of no-added-sulphur wines. This newly built site is uniquely optimised for each of the countries that Stellar Winery exports their wines to, and fits in with each country’s style, culture, and language, only displaying the products available in that specific country.
Earlier this year we seized the opportunity to upgrade Diemersdal Estate’s website with the aim of upgrading their look to a more current style, as well as improving the customer experience and website checkout process. Diemersdal is a well-known landmark in the Durbanville Wine Valley which prides themselves on their various award winning wines. For us, as a creative agency, it is important to always take the lead in innovative trends and stay up to date with our clients’ market.
Riso Africa contacted us earlier in the year to recreate their existing outdated website. We presented a more professional, neater, simplified and user friendly website which is not only optimised for desktop, but also gives our mobile and tablet users the same website experience with custom designed layouts for mobiles and tablets. This year the second annual NAMPO Cape took place in Bredasdorp, stemming from the well established NAMPO which was hosted by Grain SA for the 52nd time in 2019. We as Lumico saw a need for the creation of NAMPO Cape’s own website where the audience can find information directly related to NAMPO Cape. We created a simple but modern website which is quick and easy to use, so that the audience can source relevant information about this event.
The House Of Fibre:
A brand new wool and mohair broker was born in early July in Port Elizabeth. Daniel Malherbe, Lumico’s Director, was contacted and asked whether the team could assist with the building of this website. The Lumico video team was tasked with going through the content library to compile wool and mohair footage to help create this website. Instead of using generic stock footage, our own unique, highly relevant content was used. The focus of this website is to make the user aware of upcoming auctions, weekly wool and mohair market reports, as well as provide contact- and employee information.
Optimizor Dog Food:
Optimizor Dog Food is a newly renovated dog food range with new packaging, improved recipes and new variants. From the rebirth of this product, the need for a new website also developed. Focusing on Optimizor’s corporate colours, shapes and unique look and feel, we developed this website to showcase their newly rebranded products and provide more information about their food. During the Rugby World Cup this website also served as the base for their numerous competitions, including a SuperBru type competition where the different cooperatives that stock Optimizor could compete against each other.
